  • The diagnostic value of fine needle aspirates is limited compared to biopsy. But when used for the right types of lesions and with the right technique, we make sure to maximize our chances of obtaining diagnostic samples.

  • Collecting samples from the pleural space, pericardial space and peritoneal space is valuable both for cytologic analysis and therapeutic alleviation of fluid pressure.

  • Not as much diagnostic value as a surgical biopsy, but much better than fine needle aspirates. Sometimes Tru Cut biopsy is the sweet spot between diagnostic capability, invasivity and expense.

  • We work closely with cardiologists who provide a detailed treament plan with specific dosing recommendations when your clients requests the involvement of a specialist.
