About Us
In 2012, Dr. Mitchell launched a one-man mobile ultrasound business in Stuart, Florida, known as Mobile Veterinary Imaging, LLC. The venture quickly thrived and has since grown into a team of five skilled sonographers, now serving the Southeast coast of Florida from Cape Canaveral to Fort Lauderdale.
Building on this success, Dr. Mitchell founded PLANE WAVE, LLC in 2024, merging his passions for aviation and ultrasound. This new and exciting project leverages the expertise gained from Mobile Veterinary Imaging and promises significant potential for the future.

Seth Mitchell attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he obtained a BS in Mechanical engineering. He then went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
After living on the Caribbean island of St Kitts for 3 years while attending Ross University, he returned to the North East and began practicing medicine in upstate New York. After a few years in the cold, the family migrated south in 2009. Soon after, he limited his practice to mobile ultrasound and has been on the road, delivering ultrasound services across South Florida.
Dr Mitchell provides thorough and efficient imaging. With a background in engineering, he is a trained problem solver, with the experience and know-how to interpret and apply sonographic pathology in a clinical perspective to help manage your difficult cases.
When he isn’t scanning or flying, he can be found on the beach or on the water. He lives in Stuart, Florida with his three daughters and his wife Bonnie, who is also a veterinarian.
